Angling and related

Coch-y-Bonddu Books

One of the best - if not the best - sites in which to find angling books, shooting and hunting titles and works about the countryside. Includes what for the time being are sales and distribution of my own The Other Side of the Stream (1998) and Sketches with Fishing Rods (2008). Extensive list, including rare and hard-to-find titles. Worldwide shipping.

John Norris of Penrith

Tackle and clothes from John Norris (on-line store). I've been dealing with this tackle shop since 1985, and even spent my first-ever royalty cheque here....

Stephen Fawcett

Fly-fishing tackle and clothing. Fawcetts of Lancaster offer a courteous, scrupulous and knowledgeable service. Thoroughly recommended.

Muscaliet Press

Medlar Press

Great publisher of angling titles old and new.

Web Design

WebGuild Media Ltd

I receive numerous comments from home and abroad about my website and among them are many enquiries about my web designers - WebGuild Media Ltd. Their websites are easy to use and there are small systems like the one which runs my site and those of other individuals such as Iain Bamforth, Andrew Waterman and Michael Schmidt, to big systems that run the sites of PN Review and Carcanet Press.

All this comes at a fraction of the cost of other web-design packages. It’s worth noting that individuals can often recoup the very modest outlay for the WebGuild system within a year (or even six months) of setting up the site - indeed, I did myself, through freelance commissions resulting from such a visible web presence.
